Plano, Texas - Fry’s didn’t impress
Well, I arrived in Dallas, Texas today. Well Plano to be exact. I am here for some training for the week. I needed a new camera bag so I decided to seek the nearest Fry’s. I visited a Fry’s in Las Vegas with Jason Dunn a few years ago and it was amazing. This time around, I was less than impressed. The store was massive, there was a lot of cool stuff, but I guess I am just hard to please because I couldn’t find anything I wanted to buy. I almost bought a Sony Vaio UX, then a Samsung Q1, but then I decided I was just trying to make myself buy something. Funny huh. Anyhow, I did grab a great camera bag and wondered aimlessly for 2 hours without even touching anything.
I am staying at the Courtyard in Plano and got a great room with a view. Hell, I might even take a dip one evening.
Unfortunately, Clinton Fitch is out of town this week, it would be great to get together to complete a week worth of geek visits. I am meeting with TJChan from Aximsite and the ladies from MobileTechReview.
Damn, I just realized that I left my microphone at home. I guess I’m not doing a podcast tonight.
